About the project
Construction of the reinforced concrete structure for a 4-unit apartment building on a narrow urban plot with a significant grade difference — where precision wasn't just expected, it was the condition for the building's long-term safety.
BILT's roles on this project
Structural execution role: BILT was solely responsible for the execution of the reinforced concrete structure — including the foundation, floor slabs, formwork for columns and walls, rebar tying and concrete pouring, as well as the waterproofing and drainage systems.
The entire reinforced concrete structure was carried out by BILT's own dedicated structural team — without involving a subcontractor. This means that quality, scheduling, and technical decisions remained in a single hand throughout: ours.
Challenges
A 14-meter grade difference on a narrow plot
The site conditions demanded exceptional precision in both design and execution — particularly from the standpoint of worksite safety, scaffolding, and material handling. There's no room for error when the slope alongside the building is 14 meters.
Complex waterproofing and drainage
Under such terrain conditions, building the bituminous waterproofing and drainage system is no routine task — a poorly executed detail only becomes visible years later, by which point it has already caused serious damage.
